You have 3 options: 1) Keep your file UID/GID root and chmod it 444 2) Make the file belong to group nobody and chmod it 440 3) Make the file belong to UID and GID nobody and leave the permissions alone. Any of the above will make it readable by the httpd, therefore "servable" on the 'Net. -- G.
