  Hmm.  Interesting.  It's quite possible I'd orignally copied
each from my last backup of RH, as I backup important things to
another hard drive daily, including the bash files, & never
thought about it.  Is it possible that slack doesn't actually
create any .bash* files?  In whcih case, I ~could~ just create
one from scratch without any hassle.
