Hi List,

With Manjaro level previous I need request Liblouis 2.6.3 release repackaging, because package maintainers not compile Liblouis with enable-ucs4 flag the PKGBUILD file.
The Python 2.x series and 3.x series default using I think UCS4 unicode support.
ARCH is affected too this issue related, An Arch specific bugreport:
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/44319
In configure script with Linux builds related why not default enabled this flag if Python2 and Python3 using UCS4 unicode support?
If Liblouis compiled without the enable-ucs4 configure option if I used Orca screen reader, my phisical Braille display I see only one character if contracted braille feature is enabled in Orca.
With Debian and Ubuntu distributions Liblouis package always compiled with --enable-ucs4 flag.
My Manjaro system if I recompile previous with Liblouis the --enable-ucs4 flag, my Manjaro system Orca contracted braille feature works right again.
Have any adwantage with default disabled UCS4 support the Linux builds?

Attila
