I didn't see the test.sem attachment. When I run the following command file2brl -C semanticFiles=boxline-test.sem boxline-test.xml test.brl (changing file nammes to avoid confusion) I get 33333333333333333333333333333333 h1d+ 2t bord}s 33333333333333333333333333333333 There is no blank line before the first boxline.
