The liblouis tarbal is okk, but I get the same problem with the liblouisxml
tarball.
Could you please apply your magic fix?

It appears that the problem was that I named my development configure
script, which only contains the lines in the previous tarballs
"configure". When I changed the name I got the present tarball, which
apmears to work fine.
