I think you can test it by running the PHP script from the console. I'm pretty 
sure it is permissions on the executable.

OK I finally have libloouis installed and working now we face a now issue. I 
have a web application in PHP which takes text and passes it to file2brl
everything works fin form the command line when I enter it from the shell

/usr/local/bin/file2brl -f 
/Library/WebServer/Documents/cbtbc/BrailleBlaster/programData/liblouisutdml/lbu_files/ink.cfg
 '/tmp/1353932384.txt' '/tmp/1353932384.brf'

However if I have PHP system run the same command  I get a return value of 1 
and no brf file is generated in /tmp

Any ideas out there?
