[liblouis-liblouisxml] Question about SVN and line endings

Hello,
Recently in doing some work on liblouis, I have noticed the issue of
line endings and how different platforms handle them. I seem to remember
that SVN has a way of converting the line endings for you so that its
natural for the platform you're working on.
Does anyone know how to set that up? I cannot remember much about it, I
cannot remember if it is a server thing or client configuration or
whether SVN is meant to do it automatically (it doesn't seem to be for me).
