It looks like this rule is meant to remove spaces surrounding a long-dash,
followed by the word was, which is being forced to be spelled out. which is
correct braille, but the a does become an I, which is a typo.

Hello:

I found this rule in the en-us-g2 table which doesn't make any sense and is
probably wrong:

always \s-\swas 36-36-2456-24-234

Notice that the 'a' changes to an 'i'.

However, I don't know much of grade 2, so an explanation of whether this
rule is correct and what it was meant to do would be helpful.  Thanks.
