Most email lists have an option to mute Github, but I don't see that
option here.
I don't think you can do this on our mailing list server. But I disabled
the mails on github directly. I think we have these mails mostly for
historical reasons.
If someone really wants these commit messages we can enable them again
or create a seperate mailing list for them.
Let me know if you absolutely want these messages back.
