Regarding the "policy" of not adding metadata to subtables: I'm guessing that
this is so that a find won't return a subtable, but there's another way to
deal with that. For example: #+find:no
As you can see from what I did with my Greek table, I've also included author,
copyright, and license information as metadata. It makes sense to me to add
this sort of data, too, into the tables, and it also makes sense to me to only
have one way to store all of the metadata. Why not, therefore, allow metadata
in saubtables? Maybe all that's needed to keep them from being selected without
specifically asking for them is another bit of metadata to say if it's a
top-level table or a subtable?
