Hi John, Christian, Dave, Tom and Paul,
I'm Victor, a Software Engineer at Microsoft Accessibility team, and I'm
currently developing a software which may use liblouis to translate text
to braille characters on windows, but we have some licensing concerns.
Even though Liblouis has an LGPL license, some table files (listed
below) still state to have a GPL license on their headers.

I see that many of those files are not on BRLTTY repository anymore and
most of them did not have their license updated for a long time.
I also see that most of the table files on BRLTTY
<https://github.com/brltty/brltty/tree/master/Tables> have been updated
on Jan23, 2016 and basically all of them now use LGPL.
I'd like to know (1) if there's any reason why those files remain GPL
or, (2) in case they are supposed to be updated to LGPL, if that will be
done anytime soon.
Thank you!
Regards,
Victor Montalvao
