Ah, that might explain the problems.

That's odd. Did you run autogen.sh and configure? You should also be
able to expose the problem if you lou_checktable on en-us-mathtext.ctb,
marburg.ctb, nl-BE-g1.ctb, ukmaths.ctb or wiskunde.ctb.
