Hi Nathalie,
I think it would help if you could give an example:
What translation table are you using?
What's the input?
e.g.
lou_translate -b en-ueb-g2.ctb
#b"6#b "7 #d
I'm not sure I understand the problem at the moment.
With best regards,
James.

Subject: [liblouis-liblouisxml] Cells for virtual dots in back-translation
Hi all!
I've got the following problem: During back-translation, the virtual
dot preceding a minus sign is eliminated but ist cell stays empty. So,
I have after back-translating <mathematical Expression> = (two spaces
instead of one only) <minus><result>
Is there a way to write my dot Patterns in such way that this empty
cell will be eliminated?
I hope you understand what I mean and can help me.
Thanks to all and best,
Nathalie
