The Adobe Illustrator shapes import in Leveller 3.0 has been updated to allow for interpreting gray fills as elevations. This allows for a better job of creating terrain from Illustrator contour plots than the existing import plug-in. After importing, one chooses the Shapes, Heightfield from Points command to build a convex hull. Smoothing is usually required afterwards, but the results are better than the plug-in, which creates plateaus that aren't easily smoothed away.
