Suggestion.  Post the individual images so we can download them, and then we can try our own software that we use and see if one is better than the other for this set of images.  I am willing to use PS and I know other people have different software packages.  One caveat,  I am leaving tomorrow for 10 days, so I would not get to try PS until I return.  But I am sure someone else could.

Agreed.  Maybe there is an alignment step that you missed.  I know when
I use Photoshop to do this, the first step I do is align the images
before I combine them.  Check the software and see if there is some
place to align them.
