Well said George.

Frank,
Leica's price structure is awfully hard to justify. Amateur or Pro, New or
Used, the prices are startling. Like you, I wish it wasn't so and I wish there
was a cheaper route into Leica Land. As for not being afraid to use one's Leica
Stuff without being terrified, I cope through the use of a comprehensive
insurance policy covering as many contingencies as I can.
As for reasonablly priced solutions and alternatives to Leica's prices, I
suspect there never will be absent Nik, Can, or maybe Cosina/Voigtlander,
diving into the dRF market in a big big way.
I could type up a bunch of blather on the whys and wherefores of Leicas
prices and dump some blah blah blah about 'it is what it is & coping with
things', but it won't do a thing to alter the fact Leica's prices frackin blow!

I've accepted their prices and learned to operate within the constraints of em.

Doesn't mean I've gotta like em,
Doesn't mean you've got to like em,
and it doesn't mean you have to accept them.

+1 to you Frank.
