Bill, lotta truth in what you say about xenophobia making a sale to a group of 'roundeyes' a bitter pill to swallow. On a comparative scale, though, I'd think Voluntarily choosing to bankrupt and destroy one's company rather than sell a small part of it to a willing buyer counts as a much bigger disgrace.
