Sonny,
If it is a 16mm cine lens, I fear you will be disappointed. The minimum
focal length for 
16mm cine lenses to cover the G1 sensor by experience is 25mm, and not all
of them do. Or is it a 
35mm cine lens? In that case it should most probably work. What mount?
