Hi David. Thank you , for the answer. I am very sad, to hear about your R5. My R5 is fine condition, and I use it nearly everyday. Good to have you on board! I had an R5 - and I LOVED it! Unfortunately, whilst in Bangkok a couple of years ago, I sat down in a restaurant and put the camera in my lap. After too many beers, I stood up to leave, without first removing the camera from my lap! It hit the tile floor, lens side down and compressed the mirror box! End of R5. :( Now I use an R8, and while I like the 1/8000th top speed, and the metering, I think I still prefer the R5 in the end! Thanks for sharing with us! I believe these little intro's help us all to know who the others are, and builds a sense of 'community' within the group. :) For those who've come late, earlier intros can be seen (along with anything else) at www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/.
