Good afternoon,fellow flexers:
Spent most of my day obtaining a boating certificate. (Cinched it! 94%)
Not enough time left in the afternoon to do much, so I thought I'd take a look
at two, small, LED lamps I ordered from China (via Amazon) to replace the
incandescent lamps in my microwave oven - y'know, the ones that burn out every
6 weeks.
Something to do, before I installed them. (They work great!)
Here's the new and the old, compared:

and here's a better view of the LED lamp.

Both taken against a piece of plain writing paper, with a Super-Macro-Takumar
50/4.
Finally, proof that they really are for 110 volts.

This last shot was with the SMC-Penax-Bellows mount 100/4. Getting the writing
clear was a bit tricky, as the "bulb" is a solid plastic of some sort ... the
innards appear to have been put in an injection mold. Definitely "no user
serviceable parts inside".
Not great photography, but fun, late on a Sunday afternoon!!!
David.
