Hi Philippe,

I guess I'm lucky living in a tiny country full of natural diversitiy!
It's great you've enjoyed the natural beauty and friendliness but to
receive a compliment on vine from a Frenchman, well this is something,
ain't it!

I was born and raised in an ancient town of Skofja Loka located in the west
part of the country, moved to the seaside during my studies, after that to
our capital Ljubljana for another six years, met my wife there, and finaly
moved back to Skofjla Loka with her in 2011.

We've been preoccupied with house renovation for a couple of years and now
with our two boys.

Hope you are doing well, and drop me a line next time you wisit the sunny
side of the Alps.

Take care,
Miha

Hi Philippe, what a nice surpise!
Hope you enjoyed your stay in my country,

Definitely! You lucky guy!

We toured the country, and the views, lakes, castles, caves, and more
importantly, the warm and smiling welcome we received from your so helpful
and kind folks were absolutely fantastic!
We keep recommending the experience to our trusted friends and family as a
result :-)

Oh yes, we brought some wine back too ;-) The wine road in the East is
wonderful too.
And will be back for sure, as soon as the cellar is empty, for even the
camper enjoyed the narrow and steep mountain roads, the cleanliness of the
camping sites, and the freshly brewed gasoline ...

More photos to come over the next days or weeks. Correct me if and when
I'm wrong in the spelling or locations, please.

BTW, which part/city of the country are you from? We may have visited your
place :-)

Amites
Philippe

PS: give that R3 MOT a stroke from me ;-)

and yes, slap means waterfall.

Kind regards
Miha - whose R3 Mot is still going strong ;)

Slap means waterfall if I'm not mistaken. This one was impressive.
