Not at all. I love my 100 APO and my 35-70/4. The other lenses I
rarely use, but rarely used them before the Q2. The 35-70 far
outperforms any Nikon glass I have and if I am not hiking, the 100 APO
is my macro of choice. I would love to see what they can do on a 47MP
Nikon. Now on a short hike I take my Nikon with the 35-70 and the Q2.
Good combination. The 28/1.7 on the Q2 is bloody sharp at 1:1 on the
47MP sensor edge to edge wide open, as a Leica lens is suppose to be.
Just amazing. I know even in a RAW shot there is some computational
corrections applied much to the chagrin of many Leica users. While I
would have rather seen the corrections made optically, that would have
added to the size and price of the lens and I got the Q2 partially to
cut down on size. I would not like a near perfect lens like the 35/2 L
mount lens because it is so big. It weighs more than the whole Q2. I
would love to shoot with it, though.

That “drastic crop” leads me to ask:
Are your fond memories of Leica R days fading as you use your Q2?

Done with the first part of our trip, holding up in SoCal for a few weeks

All taken with the Q2
One of my favorite falls is Sol Duc, a short hike from the hot springs. Here
is the view from above the falls looking towards the bridge.

And just showing off the Q2 again, here is a drastic crop of the photo above
showing just he small section in the middle of the frame.
