I think the second shot is my Fav., too.
I included the third shot. of the rather scraggly looking stallion, just to
show just how close to the road they were.
There are 3 or 4 bands of mustangs in the area, though we rarely see them, and
when we do, it is usually at a great distance.
It was nice to see them "up close and personal" for a change.

The second photo of those wild horses looks stunning! Just amazing
animals especially in wild. Background color and the contrast it has
created is very appealing.

Today we took a trip over to Ashcroft (about 40 minutes away) to do a
little shopping.
As we drove over, I had to stop as a band of wild horses had decided
that the long grass, right by the highway, was a good deal.
