[LRflex] M8 Firmware 2.000

Hi-
I downloaded and installed the new software yesterday without a hitch
and found the new Auto ISO function to work very nicely in my plain
vanilla M8, which is what I would call a Mark 1 Mod 0, or the original
configuration.
At the top of the ISO selection list there now appears "Auto ISO"
along with the other fixed ISOs available (160, 320, 640, 1250 &
2500). A further setting in the Menu function allows you to set the
maximum ISO you will allow or, conversely, the slowest shutter speed
you will allow it to choose.
I only shot a few frames to investigate the functionality when I moved
from f/2.8 to f/8 and f/11 and it works as advertised.
I can't comment on color rendition or other aspects of this firmware
version but this little addition, which was totally unexpected, by me
at least, seems like a nice thing to have along on a walk about or for
more intentional shooting. And the price is right as well.
