I bought an M6 a few months ago and I have only one M lens, 50mm Summicron Rigid. I have just now had a good look with the lens mounted on my Panasonic G1. The signature is retained mounted digitally.
The desired qualities of lenses seems to have changed through time, this summicron is less sharp and less contrasty than the much later R version I have. Bokeh is also smoother to my eye. Anyway, here are a few samples from the local cemetery and one in the street I shot yesterday and a 35mm using he M6. If I could only ever have one lens this one would be on the short list.
