Xavier,
Thanks, I am sorry to hear that La Belle France, the home Daguerre and the
Lumiere brothers, is having the same experience that we are having.
All the mom and pop camera stores around here are long gone, with only an odd
chain or two still hanging on, and one deep discounter who offers no service,
just low prices.
Still, the printing, publishing and advertising worlds can’t live on video
alone (I hope), so we will see what happens.
All the best,
Bill

But dam'ned this is serious.
Mind you, I have seen the Photographic store on Boulevard Beaumarchais
closing one after the other. The one left have reduced their staff, their
stock, etc.
Only one guy that seems to be all right, Monsieur HO owning Europ Photo.
However, I see his son has no Rolex anymore...
Even Cirque Photo, a well reputed video & photo place looks grey with staff
depressed.
Cheers.
