Aram,
I understand, having lived in Bremerton for three years. Lots of liquid
sunshine!
Ah yes, the gray and the green, you gotta learn to love ‘em!
I was born and grew up in Florida and we never had umbrellas or raincoats; we
just waited under something until the rain shower blew past or got wet.
I can recall walking along a street in the sunshine with rain on the other side
of the street.
Sometimes my mother would send us out for something in the rain and we’d
complain and she always said, “Go ahead. You’re not sugar, you won’t melt!” and
off we’d go.

I don’t use an umbrella. I was raised in Seattle and I have webbed feet.
You could always spot a Seattle import by the umbrella.
Thanks for looking.

Aram,
Looks like you’ve got the proper umbrella for heavy rain, a golfer’s
umbrella. Makes a big difference!
Stay dry.

In all fairness, the lyrics also go on to say “it pours”.
Having a wet time down here.
Comments welcome.
