both the middle and last photograph
show the vine wrapping around the electric coil
which is
(perhaps was - still works - remains to be seen if it's taken to the new house)
our "outdoor hot plate"
Used with an iron fry pan to do blackened salmon
(mostly - though other fish as well)
keeps the smoke out of the house.
