Hello all, another bout of collectivitis! I shouldn't have left the house today!!50 Euros poorer, but a couple of rather nice shiny (but still very dusty) additions to my display cabinet.
http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/_MG_7614.jpg.htmlA Voigtländer VITO IIa - some tiny patches of rust and the film indicator on the rewind knob is unreadable, but everything inside and out works as it should
http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/_MG_7613.jpg.htmlVoigtländer VITO CLR - the cheaper version with a Lanthar 2.8/50mm - the meter and everything else works, only the paint on the side of the meter wondow on top is rubbed off.
http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/_MG_7612.jpg.html The most expensive part: 30 Euros altogether, including a leather case.An almost like new Kodak Retina IIIc - the meter works too, shown here with the finder for the accessory lenses, the bakelite lens shade and the accessory lenses were part of the deal too
http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/DMS/New-Old-Pictures/_MG_7611.jpg.htmlThe accessory lenses - still in their plastic keepers, look as if they've never been used (which is understandable, it's a terribly fiddly business involving acertaining the distance with the RF, noting the setting for the standard lens and then transferring it to another scale at the bottom of the focusing ring)
I even bought some film to put them through their paces. Cheers from a rather happy Douglas in Hannover ------ Unsubscribe or change to/from Digest Mode at: http://www.lrflex.furnfeather.net/ Archives are at: //www.freelists.org/archives/leicareflex/
