Probably true. I also recall that it took 16 batteries and recorded
on a cassette tape. The first permanent image taken with it was of
a young woman who worked in the office there. As they say, and the

The Cleveland Camera Collectors group of which I am a member, saw
him in Rochester N.Y. at the Rochester Photographic Historical
Society's triennial event around that time. Did Mr. Sasson mention
that his device that weighed eight
pounds, (3629 grams) did not come with a neck strap?. :-) Best.

Sorry about the odd perspective, but the Exif data says it was
taken with a 10~22mm lens of unknown brand. I don't recall ever
owning a lens in that focal rankge, but I probably borrowed it,
that day. Certainly, I did not know how to use it!

Lastly, a confession. I had said that I met Sasson in 2006 but the
photos are dated 2007. My bad. Blame it on early onset
Alzheiimers.
