I've been quiet on the list for a while. Been really busy, then laid
low with a horrid head cold. On the mend, now, so I decided to do
some indoor photography...
Some time back I bought a collapsible, soft lighting tent (similar to
this one: https://tinyurl.com/5xs9zjh2), thinking it would be useful.
But it has sat, unused, for years. So I dug it out, thinking I'd try
to shoot some of my old cameras with this so-called shadowless box.
I also thought I'd try the OM-1's in camera focus stacking. I've used
focus stacking for years, with Combine ZP and it has worked well.
But, automation... well, that could be fun!
After a few false starts, I found that 12 exposures with a focus
differential of 3 (whatever that means) worked well, to cover the
depth of a camera, without picking up the background fabric.
Here's an example:

It turned out to be bog simple, and the results, I thought, were
pretty good. Not for every taste, but easy to get virtually
shadowless results,
David.
