Hi Doug you said: Thank you David. After seeing this photo my wife now understands why I was so excited when I returned from my bicycle ride this morning :-) You sure it didn't have something to do with bouncing up and down on a hard bicycle saddle.. :-D ...? Or were you meaning some other sort of excited.....? :-\ Ruddy ducks: I haven't looked at your photos yet David, but there are various versions of ruddy ducks at Pensthorpe. I'll see if I can dig one or two out so we can compare notes. Some rds settled in the UK (probably illegal immigrants! ;-) ) and are around the southern part of the Fens area, where there is another conservation establishment at Peakirk, near Peterborough. The local pub there is called the Ruddy Duck. (BTW, in the UK, ruddy is a synonym for b£"$%y!! duck or whatever....) Batteries: Wasn't it a Canadian who found penicillin, too (Fleming)? I think the discovery of that was rather more valuable to the planet than alkaline batteries....or should I say rather less damaging...? Different tack: Do any of you use Zone Alarm security suite? Since version 7, it has driven me spare! As an example, last night, it turned off antivirus, claiming I hadn't updated it (does that whether I want it to or not!) and I couldn't turn it back on, either with manual update or whatever. This morning, back to normal. Looked for support last night. No e-mail support any more, just premium rate telephone or normal fax to the US or else something euphemistically called 'self help' (another concrete parachute, so far as I could tell). Could that have something to do with lots of complaints, I wonder? I am coming to the conclusion that absolute maximum short-term profit is ALL that motives 90% of companies now, and the customer? Service? - What do they matter? >:o . I do like to make positive comment and recommend good companies, whoever they are; but this is getting a rare event, it seems. Well, I'm still poorly, in a lot of pain, so I'd better finish.
