thank you David for your kind words for us...I agree, we see great
work here...fascinating that representing the "BEST" 131 images !! of
22 camera clubs...40 of them, were not sharp where they should be,
but that's your point, shocking...
Steve, Ted, Gary, et al.
It was indeed, the best, for each club first held it's own contest,
and the 6 best images from each club were forwarded to the national
competition.
Almost 40 with focusing faults is almost 30% of the entries... and
it is, indeed, both shocking and rather sad. Even worse, I suspect
it's not an exclusively Canuck problem.
Obviously, the story Gary relates is closer "to the bone" than we
might like to think!

Any list is only the sum of it's parts... and we are all lucky to
have some pretty good "parts" here!
