What a fun story and a great portrait, David. Dennis’s constricted pupils give
him, to my eyes, a
"hyper-on-the-edge-I-don’t-remember-the-last-fight-ready-for-the-next-muskrat-tangle”
look….that I guess, now that I think of it, is true to the breed for Black
Labs. :)
If you have the time, inclination, and opportunity another portrait-shot of
Dennis in less light and with his pupils dilated would be fun to see how it
might change the “feel” of Dennis-Broken-Tongue from wild-eyed Muskrat brawler
to…hmmmm…”Dennis-I’ll-Buy-The-Bar-The-Last-Drink”….maybe. :)
