Hi Philippe!
For the Vidin dog, the surroundings were posted a wee bit earlier.

For the pup at Lepenski Vir , I have not posted any shots, as it is little more
than a huge, modern building housing an ancient archeological site - the oldest
known urban settlement in Europe, dating from from between 9500 & 6000 BC. It
was saved from the rising waters of the Danube, when the dam was built and
relocated.
However, you can, if you wish, see the building here:

You are, of course, correct ... these dogs are "record shots" or "happy snaps",
as Ted likes to call them. They were included for family, who are following
our journey via the internet. But, I probably should not have mentioned them
on this list as they are not up to my normal standards.
Thanks for you comment.
David.
Cool creatures, but I would have liked to see some of the sourroundings------
to give the photo some context.
Amities

In Bulgaria and Serbia feral dogs are almost everywhere.
The authorities catch them, give them their shots and then release
them. The locals feed them and they're a pretty relaxed bunch.
The first is in Vidin, Bulgaria, the second at Lapinski Vir, near
Donji Mllanovic, Serbia
