Hi David!
We were invited last night, by a wine-maker and friend who was returning from a
2400 km pilgrimage to Compostelle (Spain) that took him 3 months to walk, in
rain, in sun or in snow …
All his family was there, along with close friends and Alice and I :-)
We had a wonderful slideshow (iPhone photo, yet …) of paths, tracks, villages,
monasteries, etc. in rural France not one of us had any idea was still there.
And his photography progressed no end in the course of his voyage, revealing an
eye for the subtle, the magnificient, and the incongruous that I did know he
had. We also tasted the wines his elder son and his wife had kept nursing
during his absence. I bet the smiles you saw on the photos are not faked :-)
