Modern IS technology is a marvel, that's for sure!
On our trip to eastern Europe, last fall, I took only two lenses. Oly's
12~40/2.8 Pro and the Pana/Leica 100~400. The later gives an effective 800mm
FL and yet I hand-held everything and was most pleased with the results.
With the OIS in the 300/4 combining with the IBIS in the 1x it must be
absolutely amazing. (The Leica 100~400 has avery good OIS but it will not work
in concert with the MK II body I have. Oly's 300 will, but I don't have one.)

Thank you. Hand held with technically 600 mm f/4. One cannot beat it. I------
printed after cropping and tweaking in LR and my Jaw just dropped,
13x19. Very Sharp. Artificial Intelligence is here to stay!!
