Another fine pic, Richard ! It's what I said before: an approach to these beautiful patterns. Well seen and well done. Shot with a Pancolar Fifty (m42) on my 20D via mount adapter. I had to massage the image in photoshop to get the 'look' I wanted using curves. The sharpness was wanting as well - handheld tele's (even short ones) aren't the world's best option on a cold winter's day! I Hope people like it and a sincere thank you to Phillipe for your comment on my previous post. I must admit that there is something about that image (with the lighthouse peeking over the dune) that doesn't quite sit well with me. Every time I see it, I want to crop it in some way or another because the image seems overly 'busy' to me, but all the crops I experiment with leave things looking unbalanced or skewed in some way. My takeaway is that I probably did something pretty good when I framed the original image so just leave it alone.
