Apart from birds of many feathers, squirrels, foxes, stoats and weasels, we
have deer and wild boars round the house, but this, indeed, is extremely
unusual.
You were right to get up early, and have a camera at hand.

OTOH, how many places can you live, where you look out the window, as you
"develop" the shot above, and see a band of wild horses (Mustangs, if you
prefer) walking up the road in front of your house?
Not great art .. I had to hurry, and stand in the snow in my bare feet, to
catch them.

Time on this shot, was 6:13 am. Not something you see, every day. Not even
here!
The snow is frustrating, this late in the season ... but, it will be gone by
noon or so.
