We paid a visit to Le Centre Pompidou-Metz this morning for an exhibition focussed on the Year 1917.

Greg will remember the place I think.

So here is an very limited excerpt of the works and artefacts on display; the lead is that these works of art were created in the very specific context of WWI. The result is a mix of military reminders, works of arts produced by the population at large and by the soldiers themselves, photographs and casts showing the atrocious conditions both sides to the conflict lived in or survived with. It also includes pieces famous the world over and created on that year 1917.
