They're boring, everybody photographs them, nobody looks at them anymore,
and... they still take my breath away.

There's a small group of palm trees west of my house. They keep the skyline from getting REALLY boring. Tonight, they also provided anchor points for sunset cloud textures in the sky. I had the 70-300mm DO IS on the EOS 1D mk II, and I couldn't resist: http://tinyurl.com/cf8vl
