Hi RP,
They are more or less like plain bagels--remember that bagels were
brought to America by immigrants from Eastern Europe. Actually, American
bagels are better that the Polish ones, with more variety and better
texture. It is one of the few American foods I miss since moving back to
Europe 10 years ago.
