My PAW offering for the week ending today is a mixed bag. It contains images from Holland and England, and also has some images taken with some new equipment acquired during the week: a 1D Mark II and a 1.4/35mm Canon lens.

The main image is another commuting picture, taken at a rest area along the A2 motorway south of Utrecht:

The next one is an addition to my bicycle series, taken near the beach in Katwijk, north of The Hague:

A Saturday night scene on Leidseplein in Amsterdam:

The last 3 images were taken in London with the newly acquired camera and lens mentioned above. First, a classic London image of a telephone booth (itself a relic of the past these days), with the traditional adverts of services offered by young ladies:

Wednesday night we went for dinner at a fancy restaurant on the Strand. The food actually looked better than it was (warning: might be offensive for vegetarians):

And finally, a night scene near my hotel, another addition to my cyclist series. It is blurred and technically far from perfect, but for some odd reason I like this image:

and comments/critique are always welcome and appreciated.
