Steve Barbour showed Tikwa. Subject: IMG tikwa lookingtikwa looks when a child cries...http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/barbour/PAW2007/teyes.jpg.html<<<< Hi Steve,If that isn't an expression of showing his feelings I don't know what wouldbe.Very interesting picture made more interesting through your caption. I'm a great believer in a photograph should stand on it's own without word supportas a caption or description of what's going on in the photograph.
of course I totally agree Ted...it should all be in the image... and it's a weaker image as words were needed... I broke the rule here, as the expression showed a clear expression, but I couldn't place the child in the image as the sound came from afar...
The difference here is the expression is so wonderful it stands on it's ownas a good photographic moment without words. But when you add your cut lines it makes the picture a heart warmingcreating a kind of "oooooohhhhhh gee whiz isn't that some dog? Look at theeyes and he's feeling bad hearing the child cry."
this dog shows more emotion and expressions than any I have known, thanks Ted, Steve
