I received the same email from Becky Levy.

Sonny notes Michael's spelling disfunction. Actually, Michael knew how to spell
probably better than most of us. His problem was that of haste. He would fly
through his posts with such speed that the typos would occur, and he admitted
to never proofreading his stuff, so the typos came through in all their glory.
I do much the same with typos, galore. Difference is that I proofread and catch
nearly all of them visually before the send button is hit.

In some off list emailing with Michael a few years ago, he revealed a great
sense of humor and left me chuckling long after the email was read. He was a
good guy and I missed his posts, too!

RIP Michael.

Roger

I always enjoyed Michael's messages here for their content, both the
intentional pictures and humor. I was never sure if the misspellings were
intentional or from the lack of a spell checker. Wondered what had happened
when we didn't see his posts anymore here. Figured it was health.

Sorry to hear he's gone - he will be missed.

  Mark

I received this a few minutes ago.  Not unexpected, but not welcome

    Dear Friends and Family,

It is with great sadness that I write to you to say that after a long,
brave battle with heart disease, my Father passed away yesterday afternoon, at
home with my Mother, brother and I by his side.

On Tuesday, my Dad asked me to be sure to email everyone in his address
book letting them know when he had passed... and I promised I would.

His obituary ran in the Buffalo News today, you can find it located here:
http://www.buffalonews.com/deaths/local-obituaries/article356800.ece

Funeral services will be held from Temple Beth Zion, 805 Delaware Avenue,
on Friday at 12:00 Noon. In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make donations
in his name to Strong Memorial Hospital Heart Transplant Unit in Rochester, NY.

We will be observing a period of mourning Friday after the funeral until
6:00 PM, Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 PM. Â We welcome visitors during those
times at 117 Hampton Hill Drive, Williamsville NY 14221.

Thank you for being such a significant part of my Father's and our lives. Â
We very much appreciate your love and support.

    Fondly,

    Becky Levy
