Good afternoon,
Standpoint's webinar, Safety Planning for Immigrants, is now ready to be viewed
on our YouTube page.
This webinar focuses on specific considerations when safety planning with
immigrant survivors of violence, including how to talk with clients about their
immigration status. We also discuss a person’s legal rights when approached by
ICE and how to respond to ICE when at work, at home, and when in public spaces.
We discuss creating a family preparedness plan so that parents have a strategy
in place for what to do about a child’s care if they are arrested, detained, or
deported.
