Hello,
Standpoint's webinar for Sexual Assault Awareness Month this April is
Considerations for Saying #MeToo, presented by Amy Lauricella.
#MeToo has ignited a much-needed public conversation that continues to
challenge our perceptions of survivor experiences and give survivors agency
over their own choices and lives. But there can also be unintended consequences
that negatively affect survivors. In the #MeToo era, survivors have many
questions about how adding their voices to the movement may affect their lives.
Tune into this webinar for some helpful topics of conversation and a better
understanding of legal complications that can arise. This webinar aims to
identify a variety of legal and personal considerations that could be
beneficial to discuss with a survivor prior to public disclosure.
