Happy Friday All!
Here at Standpoint we are finalizing our PowerPoints and materials for New Laws
and I've got to tell you we have an amazing set of presentations for you! I am
so excited. Amy Isenor and I have found the FUNNIEST memes and that alone
should be a great reason to come to New Laws. But beyond the funny memes, we
will be covering cases involving interference with privacy, indecent exposure,
disorderly conduct, the new child support statute, and of course, the new
supreme court case on orders for protection.
But that's not all! You've got to come to Day One of New Laws too. To be able
to support victims/survivors, we need to learn more than just case and
statutory law. Amy Lauricella will be presenting on the #MeToo movement and
how it is effecting our work, Rachel Goodsky from Mending the Sacred Hoop will
be presenting on lateral violence and indigenous culture and Rachel Kohler will
be presenting on working with labor trafficked youth in a trauma informed way.
(I am personally really looking forward to all three of these presentations!)
It will be entertaining! It will be educational! It will be the typical
awesomeness that New Laws is! So register TODAY for any of the 6 locations.

We cannot wait to see all your shining faces!
