The gate to the playground/tennis courts will be locked for the season by
October 31st. You can still access the area by parking in front of the gate
and walking around.As the days shorten be aware of people walking dogs and
children playing as you drive through the development. It's important that your
lamp post be lit for safety as well.
The developers of the Medical Mutual property are still in discussion with
some Ledgewood residents most impacted by the plans. They have modified the
development by offering to reduce the number of restaurant to 2, and move the
whole project south, farther away from residents. If their rezoning request is
approved, our main concern will remain storm water run off and we will work
with their engineers every step of the way to make sure that no further water
will enter the stream as a result of the development. Until their plans are
finished ( and the election is over!) no council people will go on record for
opposing or supporting the rezoning.
