i was returning from an appointment this morning an spotted a harrier in
McCullough park. it had just taken down a poor dove. i went home and
grabbed some gear hoping it would still be there when i returned. it was.
i approached slowly using my vehicle as a blind and not wanting to
disturb its feeding. i shot off a few quick frames and drove off leaving
it to happily finish its meal. hope you like these shots. BTW a
sharp-shinned paid us a quick visit yesterday.

life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely
in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming-WOW-WHAT A
RIDE!
